In cooperation with school "Vijverberg" we give lessons in care for animals. The school has an education form that interacts well with the animals on the SunFlowers Ranch. This way they can put their theoretical knowledge into practice with the animals itself. In extension of caring for the animals, they also help with the maintenance and cleaning of the shelters.
The children are being guided and educated by a teacher who is a specialist in plants and animals.

Afternoons for kids |
On appointment, children from all ages are welcome to help care for the animals, and potential make a ride on one of the ponies. In small groups they are educated about how to care for animals in a playful way. Important is "How to approach a animal" . This is also significant for a child’s home situation, so he or she learns how to interact with their own dog, cat or rabbit. A animal is not a toy, and they cannot learn that early enough.

With the proper education for children, many bite accidents and animal suffering can be prevented !!

Belangrijk is het "hoe benader je een dier". Dit is ook van belang voor een kind in de thuissituatie;hoe zich te gedragen met hun eigen hond,kat of konijn. Een dier is geen speelgoed en dat kunnen ze nooit te vroeg leren. |
